Adults-only all inclusive is the quietest corner of the Greek resort market. No childrenβs clubs, no splash parks and a quieter pool soundtrack, with the same board basis of meals, local drinks and daily activities. This guide is about choosing between those resorts. For the wider picture across all budgets, start with our all-inclusive resorts in Greece overview, and if you are travelling with children, see the separate family all-inclusive guide.
Prices are approximate per person per night for two adults sharing, as of 2026. Rates move with date, room type and how early you book.
How adults-only works in Greece
There are three formats, and the difference matters for price and atmosphere.
- Fully adults-only property. The whole resort is 16+ or 18+. Club Med Kos is the clearest example, and our Club Med Greece review covers what the 5 Tridents village includes.
- Adults-only wing in a larger resort. A block of rooms with its own pool and sometimes its own restaurant and beach area, inside a family complex. Cheaper, but the main bars and evening entertainment are shared.
- Adults-focused, not restricted. Some hotels market to couples with a quiet pool and no kidsβ programme, yet still accept children. Read the policy before booking.
Best islands for adults-only all inclusive
Kos. The strongest choice if you want a fully child-free resort. Flat terrain, long beaches and easy cycling suit couples who want a mix of sun and activity. See our Kos island guide and where to stay in Kos for areas. Compare Kos hotels and resorts or find Kos tours.
Corfu. Greener and more scenic than the southern islands, with the north-east coast around Kommeno and Dassia and the west coast around Agios Gordios holding most of the quiet, couples-oriented stock. Ikos Odisia is the 16+ option at the luxury end; our Ikos Resorts Greece guide explains the ultra all-inclusive model and compares it with the family-oriented Ikos properties. Corfu Town is a short taxi ride for the evening. More in our Corfu island guide. Compare Corfu hotels and resorts or find Corfu tours.
Rhodes. The west-coast resort strip from Ixia to Ialyssos and the quieter east around Kiotari and Gennadi have the widest price range, from solid four-star adults wings to five-star spa resorts. Rhodes Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site and gives you something to do beyond the pool. See Rhodes and where to stay in Rhodes. Compare Rhodes hotels and resorts or find Rhodes tours.
Crete. Largest capacity, but fewer fully adults-only options than Kos. Most are adults wings in big north-coast resorts between Hersonissos and Rethymno, or smaller 16+ hotels near Chania. Crete suits couples who plan to leave the resort for gorges, beaches and villages. See where to stay in Crete. Compare Crete hotels and resorts or find Crete tours.
Halkidiki. The best mainland option. Sani Resort is a large estate with several hotels and a quieter feel in its beach-front wings; check each hotelβs board basis, because not all include everything. Compare Halkidiki hotels and resorts or find Halkidiki tours.
What you get, and what usually costs extra
Included at almost every property: buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, local beer, wine and spirits, snacks, daytime and evening entertainment, and non-motorised watersports. Often extra: premium spirits, a la carte restaurant surcharges, spa treatments, motorised watersports, excursions and airport transfers. Luxury villages bundle more, so a higher headline price can come out level once extras are counted.
Is adults-only worth the premium?
Typically you pay 15-30% more than a comparable family-friendly hotel. It is worth it for honeymoons, anniversaries and anyone who has been disturbed by a crowded pool. It is less compelling if you mainly want to see the island, in which case a standard hotel with half board may be better value. Our honeymoon guide for Greece compares the options with the Cyclades.
Tips for booking
- Filter on Booking.com by meal plan βall inclusiveβ and then read the propertyβs age policy line by line.
- Book July and August by February or March; September rates are noticeably softer.
- Check how far the resort is from the nearest town. Isolated resorts are peaceful but add taxi costs of EUR 25-50 each way.
- Confirm drinks hours and whether premium brands are included before you pay.
